This custom ARP head stud kit is designed specifically for the European BMW S50B30 Single VANOS and S50B32 Dual VANOS inline 6-cylinder engines, which are commonly found in the following applications: 1995-1999 E36 M3 (excluding Canada and the United States) 1996-2000 Z3 M Coupe and M Roadster (excluding Canada and the United States) Installing ARP head studs on an S50B30 or S50B32 engine provides several advantages, such as increased clamping force and improved head gasket sealing, which can prevent head gasket failure.

This is especially important for high-performance, stroker, supercharged, or turbocharged engines that experience increased cylinder pressure, placing additional stress on the head gasket and bolts.

The ARP head stud kit comes in two materials: ARP2000 and L19.

ARP2000 has a tensile strength of 220,000 psi, while L19 boasts a tensile strength of 260,000 psi.
